ART 3060 - Illustration Studio (0 Lecture Hours 6 Lab Hours 3 Credit Hours)
Prerequisite: ART 3550 with a minimum grade of C. This course is intended to introduce the student to the field of graphic illustration, including the history, purpose, and ways of creating an illustration. Exercises and assignments will stimulate narrative and critical thinking skills, development of a personal style, and exploration of various solutions to the same problem. Students will be introduced to a variety of media, with flexibility in their choice of media for given assignments. Students must be accepted into the Animation, Illustration, and Digital Arts concentration prior to enrolling in this course.
