Secondary Education, M.Ed.

The subject matter fields for the M.Ed. in secondary education are biology, broad field science, English, history, mathematics, and earth science. The program is designed to meet the needs of those who already hold a level-4 certificate. The candidate follows the same subject matter areas of concentration in which the level-4 certificate was earned. The 30-hour program includes courses in professional education, specialty content, and research. Candidates should meet with an advisor for specific information about the program. A 2.7 GPA and a level 4 secondary education clear professional teaching certificate is required for admission. The GRE is not required.
