Media Specialist Educator Certification Program and Instructional Technology Educator Certification Program

In addition, the Department offers initial and add-on certification in Media Specialist and add-on certification in Instructional Technology. Students who possess a master’s degree and hold or are eligible for a Georgia teaching certificate can do the add-on certification program in school library media and/or instructional technology; those with a master’s degree and no teaching certification are eligible for the initial certification program in school library media only.
