The James ‘Earl’ Perry College of Mathematics, Computing, and Sciences offers cutting-edge programs designed to prepare students for successful careers in STEM fields. Emphasizing hands-on learning and real-world applications, students have opportunities to participate in faculty-led research projects and gain valuable experience through industry internships. The college provides a wide range of degree options within two innovative schools. The School of Computing, Analytics, and Modeling houses the computing and mathematics programs, and the School of Field Investigations and Experimental Sciences houses the biology, chemistry, earth and environmental sciences, and physics. With small class sizes, state-of-the-art technology labs, and strong interdisciplinary connections with industry partners, students are well-equipped to tackle the challenges of the future.
The college participates in University College’s Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (B.I.S) degree program with pathways in Forensic Science & Investigation, Data Science, Materials Science, and Natural Resources Management. In addition, the college supports the discipline-specific writing certificate housed in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
