Studies how societal practices and organization produce varying types of ecological degradation. Analyzes various forms of environmental activism. Analyzes selected cases and issues as well as a critical examination and comparison of various sociological viewpoints them-selves. Considers global problems and everyday situations with a focus on modernity as risk society.
