HIST 4301 - Latin American Women (3 Lecture Hours 0 Lab Hours 3 Credit Hours)
Prerequisites:(HIST 1111 or HIST 1112 ) and (HIST 2111 or HIST 2112 ) This class examines the lives and experiences of Latin American women through the sub-themes of sexuality, religion, labor, social movements, populism, liberalism, race, and class in order to debunk traditional misconceptions and stereotypes about Latin American women and focus on their influence and contribution to an otherwise commonly perceived male-dominated culture and society.
