Prerequisite: ART 1006 with a minimum grade of C and ART 1009 with a minimum grade of C and ART 1007 with a minimum grade of C and ART 1008 with a minimum grade of C and ART 2201 with a minimum grade of C and ART 2202 with a minimum grade of C and College of Education field experience documentation required
This course is designed for the art education major to focus on the developmental needs and abilities of students at the elementary level. Methods in art education include approaches to art pedagogy, production, criticism, and aesthetics utilizing a variety of age-appropriate studio media.
